Se publica en la ciudad de Buenos Aires el primer n\u00famero de la revista Caras y Caretas, que marc\u00f3 una era en el periodismo gr\u00e1fico. Fue fundada por el escritor y periodista entrerriano Jos\u00e9 Sixto \u00c1lvarez, popularmente conocido como Fray Mocho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1927 &#8211; C\u00c9SAR MILSTEIN<\/strong>. Nace el bioqu\u00edmico argentino C\u00e9sar Milstein, ganador del Premio Nobel de Medicina de 1984 por sus investigaciones sobre las c\u00e9lulas monoclonales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1927 &#8211; G\u00dcIRALDES<\/strong>. A los 41 a\u00f1os muere en Par\u00eds el poeta y escritor argentino Ricardo G\u00fciraldes, autor de Don Segundo Sombra, novela clave de la literatura gauchesca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/billiken.lat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/cuerpo-1-29.jpg\" alt=\"8 de octubre - Manuel Garc\u00eda Ferr\u00e9\" class=\"wp-image-96310\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1929 &#8211; GARC\u00cdA FERR\u00c9<\/strong>. Nace el artista gr\u00e1fico e historietista Manuel Garc\u00eda Ferr\u00e9, quien desarroll\u00f3 su carrera en la Argentina y es el creador de recordados personajes infantiles como Anteojito, Hijitus, Larguirucho, Petete y Calcul\u00edn, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1944 &#8211; ESTATUTO DEL PE\u00d3N<\/strong>. Se sanciona el Estatuto del Pe\u00f3n de Campo, que dio protecci\u00f3n y derechos al trabajador rural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1971 &#8211; IMAGINE<\/strong>. Se lanza el \u00e1lbum Imagine, el segundo de estudio realizado por el exbeatle John Lennon. La canci\u00f3n Imagine, que da nombre al disco, se convirti\u00f3 en un himno a la paz y al anhelo de un mundo mejor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2006 &#8211; ECOS<\/strong>. Nueve alumnos y un docente del colegio secundario porte\u00f1o Ecos mueren al chocar con un cami\u00f3n el \u00f3mnibus en el que regresaban de una actividad solidaria en la provincia de Chaco. El siniestro, que adem\u00e1s caus\u00f3 40 heridos, ocurri\u00f3 en la ruta 11 en la provincia de Entre R\u00edos. En conmemoraci\u00f3n de las v\u00edctimas, el 8 de octubre se celebra el D\u00eda del Estudiante Solidario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2025 &#8211; D\u00cdA DEL TRABAJADOR RURAL<\/strong>.
