Debido a la&nbsp;<strong>complejidad del caso<\/strong>, fue&nbsp;<strong>trasladada a Capital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El evento se registr\u00f3 en el&nbsp;<strong>Hospital Universitario San Juan Bautista<\/strong>, donde una&nbsp;<strong>mujer&nbsp;<\/strong>asisti\u00f3 con su&nbsp;<strong>hija de 11 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, quien manifestaba que le&nbsp;<strong>dol\u00eda uno de sus ojos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La&nbsp;<strong>mujer relat\u00f3&nbsp;<\/strong>que en ese momento se&nbsp;<strong>dio cuenta&nbsp;<\/strong>de que la&nbsp;<strong>ni\u00f1a ten\u00eda gusanos en su cabeza<\/strong>, por lo que&nbsp;<strong>notific\u00f3 al nosocomio local<\/strong>, siendo atendida en el lugar y luego&nbsp;<strong>trasladada a las instalaciones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En el hospital intentaron retirar los gusanos<\/strong>, pero detectaron que estos&nbsp;<strong>hab\u00edan perforado el cr\u00e1neo&nbsp;<\/strong>de la menor, evidenciando que la&nbsp;<strong>infecci\u00f3n era de larga data<\/strong>, por lo que fue&nbsp;<strong>derivada&nbsp;<\/strong>al&nbsp;<strong>hospital Pedi\u00e1trico Juan Pablo II&nbsp;<\/strong>de&nbsp;<strong>Capital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed mismo, se inici\u00f3 de oficio una&nbsp;<strong>causa contra la madre&nbsp;<\/strong>de la menor por&nbsp;<strong>Lesiones Graves por Omisi\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un&nbsp;hecho ins\u00f3lito&nbsp;ocurri\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles en&nbsp;Santo Tom\u00e9&nbsp;cuando una menor de edad ingres\u00f3 al&nbsp;hospital local&nbsp;porque ten\u00eda&nbsp;gusanos en su cabeza.
